

On Tuesday, 10 February 2026, at 8:50 a.m., Naresuan University officially welcomed the Visiting Professor from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. The delegation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Kingkarn Apiwattanasumeth, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and Associate Professor Dr. Weerapong Chidnok, Head of the Exercise Science and Rehabilitation Research Unit. They accompanied Prof. Dr. Andrew Mark Jones from the School of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Exeter, United Kingdom, to meet Associate Professor Dr. Sarinthip Thantanee, Acting President of Naresuan University, at Suphankalaya Room, Office of the President Building, Naresuan University.
The meeting focused on exchanging perspectives regarding academic and research collaboration under the project “Empowering Climate Action through Green Innovation and Global Research Collaboration,” supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation under the “Reinventing Universities” initiative. During his visit, Prof. Jones also participated in marathon training sessions and delivered a special lecture entitled “Current Trends in Sports and Exercise Sciences for Enhancing Exercise Performance: Training and Technology.” He further engaged in knowledge exchange with faculty members and health professionals through various physical skill development activities.
