โครงการตรวจวัดสมรรถภาพทางสายตา และการประกอบแว่นสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ

วันที่ 19 กรกฎาคม 2568 คณะสหเวชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ร่วมกับองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลท่าโพธิ์ ได้จัดกิจกรรมโครงการ “ตรวจวัดสมรรถภาพทางสายตา และการประกอบแว่นสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ” ณ โถงชั้น 1 อาคารบริหารและบริการ คณะสหเวชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีให้แก่ผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน ด้วยการตรวจคัดกรองและประเมินปัญหาทางสายตา พร้อมให้บริการประกอบแว่นตามความเหมาะสมของแต่ละบุคคล

กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจาก กองทุนหลักประกันสุขภาพท้องถิ่น ตำบลท่าโพธิ์ และดำเนินงานโดยคณาจารย์และนิสิตจากภาควิชาทัศนมาตรศาสตร์ คณะสหเวชศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้ร่วมกันออกแบบกระบวนการให้บริการอย่างครบวงจร ตั้งแต่การซักประวัติ ตรวจวัดค่าสายตา ให้คำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพตา ไปจนถึงการประกอบแว่นและมอบแว่นให้แก่ผู้สูงอายุที่เข้ารับบริการ

ภายในกิจกรรม มีผู้สูงอายุจากชุมชนในเขตตำบลท่าโพธิ์เข้าร่วมเป็นจำนวนมาก โดยบรรยากาศเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่นและเป็นกันเอง ทั้งยังสร้างโอกาสให้นิสิตได้ฝึกฝนทักษะวิชาชีพจริงผ่านการบริการชุมชน อันเป็นการบูรณาการการเรียนรู้กับการรับใช้สังคมได้อย่างสมบูรณ์

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งความร่วมมือที่สำคัญระหว่างคณะสหเวชศาสตร์กับท้องถิ่น ในการร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนสุขภาวะของผู้สูงอายุ พร้อมทั้งสะท้อนบทบาทของสถาบันการศึกษาในการเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการพัฒนาสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน

Vision Screening and Eyeglasses Service Project for the Elderly

On July 19, 2025, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Naresuan University, in collaboration with the Tha Pho Subdistrict Administrative Organization, organized a community outreach project titled “Vision Screening and Eyeglasses Service for the Elderly.” The event took place at the 1st Floor Hall of the Administration and Service Building, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, with the primary aim of promoting the well-being and quality of life of elderly residents by providing comprehensive eye examinations and eyeglasses tailored to individual needs.

This project was generously funded by the Local Health Security Fund of Tha Pho Subdistrict and was carried out by faculty members and students from the Department of Optometry, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. The service process was designed to be comprehensive—starting from medical history interviews and visual acuity assessments to professional consultation on eye health care, followed by customized eyeglass fittings and distributions to elderly participants.

The event welcomed a large number of elderly residents from the Tha Pho community. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, fostering a sense of care and connection. Participants expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the thoughtful services provided. Moreover, the project served as a valuable hands-on learning opportunity for students, allowing them to apply their professional knowledge while engaging in meaningful community service.

This initiative represents a significant collaboration between the university and local government in advancing elderly health and well-being. It also reflects the university’s commitment to its social responsibility role, contributing to sustainable community development through academic expertise and compassionate outreach.
